Once upon a time people sent postcards
Once upon a time people sent postcards, a thin piece of cardboard with a perfectly captured picture showing what your holiday destination looked like. Whilst the image looked very picturesque it didn’t really represent the experience you had or give Mum and Dad a true feel for what you were doing, feeling or seeing.
But we don’t need to worry about that any more! 360 degree content is progressively becoming the go to way of capturing your audience with a literal step into the environment of the ‘picture’.
Whether you want to give a true impression of just how epic it is to climb a mountain or make your friends and family really jealous of a sun drenched beach holiday, capturing a 360 degree picture that can be shared instantly on social media or a website is the new postcard.
Last weekend the latest addition to the Virtually Mine team James captured these images on his way up Snowdon whilst visiting family in Devon.
